A warm hello
Many moons ago, I witnessed countless ceremonies through my camera lens as a professional wedding photographer. I saw the effect love brings: the look a couple share when they first see each other on their wedding day, and the proud expressions of loved ones without hesitation. It is like the hugest smile that begins in your toes and makes you want to wiggle, shout and spin around. I love those gooey feelings that rise when words of love are spoken, and the inspiration they carry. I always wanted to be the celebrant who created those words and brought about those feelings for others to enjoy, joining two people in love. To be part of a ceremony is to share the first steps of a couple's next life adventure. I am there with love, guidance and encouragement, making sure everything is perfect from our first meeting to presenting two as one. It is a privilege.
